Hello
I thought I would start the new year with this forest level for a horror game made with Game Guru classic.
I just wanted to see if could do a decent forest with Game Guru , and I liked the results. So thought I would share
here is the url www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZDgm0NMfgQ

Yes shir, well done.
That's actually quite spooktacular.
Don't know how you got the grainy look, it was running at
720, must have been the heavy fog. But that added nicely
to the atmosphere. Overall, it's got lot's of potential.

Is there a way to randomize footfall sounds? Not your fault, but
the same footfall sound detracted from the vibe. A little gooshy
mud sound and other variety would help well.

With a script, you could just cause a random sound to trigger once
in a while when near an object (bush, the water, etc) But good job!

looks like it's an in-game effect as the HUD is still clear - i think it works quite well, certainly blends the models together nicely, like lowering the contrast a bit on photos and kinda makes the world look a little bit like an oil painting - certainly a good way to hide GG's rather substandard graphics by todays standards

This level seems, to me, to be mostly about the musical ambience. The setting makes sense as a whole if it's about being lost in a forest, and it communicates that visually, but the music is definitely front forward and in-your-face.
