I'm trying to make cutscenes for my game, but I can't figure out how to import GG models into blender (if it's even possible). Thanks,

I think Blender 2.79 you could use a plugin like https://github.com/poikilos/io_import_x, not sure if it any good or not? Otherwise download Fragmotion3D from Fragmosoft http://www.fragmosoft.com/downloads/ it is freeware and does have a small annoying pop up but is fully functional to Import ".X" files and convert to either ".FBX", ".OBJ" or ".M3D" formats which can all be used in blender latest version without any extra addons needed to be installed or downloaded. You may need to enable them though which is easy enough.

Personally if you are using GGC I would recommend having all the models you want in FBX format as you can import these models directly into GGC as X files are very outdated and not used by most 3D modelling programs any more except for Milkshape 3D and Fragmotion 3D and 1 or 2 more higher end Programs that will cost you £100's + . I suggested Fragmosoft as it has a good animation set of tools for fixing GGC animations if you convert animated models and occasionally the animation can get messed up. Look on the forums here for tutorials for that if you need it.

Hope it helps?

Yeah, X works fine in both Classic and MAX...
Both engines convert it to internal format anyhow....
Haven't had to use the importer in either engine - much prefer File Explorer method myself.

Fragmotion is free if you want it to be free. All you have to do is type out the lord's prayer when it asks for it once a month and it is fully free. You only have to pay if you want to, and theres also a way around typing all of that out if you don't mind a random pop up every couple of minutes asking you to buy.
