If, like me, you find proper modelling software daunting and feel you have no option but to buy models, please check out Asset Forge! I recently discovered it on itch. You just pick shapes or components, stick them together, extrude and colour.

I don't know how to add texture layers but I am sure it could be done in another app. I am just glad I can now make objects that actually look like something - aside from dung.

Bought it (but there is a free version). And yes this tool is very useful for none professional 3D modelers like me. And it even imports well (GG Classic). I also recommend it.

ArmorPaint work very well with Asset Forge to create textures and export. Armor Paint also on Itch.io
