I see that beta is available and so far I am ready to download and install it, but will it have an auto update feature or will I need to redownload the same thing over and over again each update?

I would imagine auto update is for Release Candidate or E.A. versions for steam in December probably.

Yea, but I personaly don't want the steam version and would much prefer for the standalone to have a basic update feature
