I've never had issues with GG that weren't solved by reinstalling...
In fact i've only ever had to do that twice because of GG issues.

Yesterday When I tried to run GameGuru it would get stuck in the loading screen popping up the path not found error and reinstalling didn't work.
I removed and reinstalled GG 4 times, the last time I installed with NONE of the DLC's checked for install...
I am using the Steam Version. The latest non beta build. 8.20.2020 release.
This happens when I launch with or without steam running.

Here are the details:
When I try to run the program I first get a Skybox error.
When the DLC were installed it was looking for
mega pack 1\--desert_pack_sky01
Then after I click ok I get Runtime Error 8003 {}

Now that I no longer have the DLC packs installed it's looking for reliquia\amethysnebula.
The specific message is: Path Cannot Be found Path:reliquia\amethysnebula

When looking at the path and at the files in the directory that it directs you to the only difference I see is that the files in the directory have initial capital letters in their file names and in the directory names.
I left that because i wasn't sure it matters in this case.

I have completely removed and reinstalled 5 times now and I am having the same issue.

I am stuck... please help!

It seems like it's looking for some lost files?
When you say re-install do you mean under steam by checking file integrity?
If not that would be also something to try.
Maybe revert back to an older version (December 2019)
just for testing purposes-- to see if any of them work- or if it's a deeper issue.
You can always revert back to the latest again.
But do it under your own discretion, don't think it should ruin any of your
current files or builds, so backup all your important maps, scripts, etc
first in a separate folder. Worth a shot?

Often uninstalling still leaves your files folder intact and in the main root directory and it does not get removed.
Therefore your re-installing and the fault is still there.

Uninstall and check the that the files folder has been removed .. If not delete and Reinstall.
However if there are files you need Name it "files2" so the new files folder gets installed to the root.

GubbyBlips I tried doing file integrity checks on each installation.

Synchromesh i copied my files folder to another drive and then deleted it from the main drive, so no it's not that.

Thank you both for getting back to me.

Going to go over it all once again, maybe i missed something?

Looks like a skybox error, not sure why, or why a fresh install would not
rectify the issue?! Have you looked to see what's in your skybox folder-
making sure there is one- with those files listed?

Hopefully you get it back up soon.
