i only get direct x drivers missing please reinstall gameguru?

Edit.......fixed
It looks like the computer i installed on is a win10 upgrade from win7 so its missing some important direct x files.
And you only nead microsofts official web based direct x end user runtime installer and takes about 5 min max.

If you look in the root folder of game guru, there is a redistribute folder.
The dirext x install and other things that could need to be installed are there.

Install them if needed.

The forum updates my posts slowly because iam new in the forums.
i have everything running but so weird to be forced to use steam to download game guru classic after i purchased it.
where do i now find all the script files?
its not good to be so clumsy in its setup to new users ?
i have a 1600x900 resolution as a max on my laptop and i cant see all the editing options on parts like the character creator and such.
bottom sections is out of the screen.
i dont care that much because i payed 6 us dollars for it on a discount .
wanted to see if i could play around with it and do something wolfenstein classic in style for fun.

Not in love with steam myself.
Script files are in files/scriptbank folder.

Most of your issues you can blame Microsoft for to be honest.
Microsoft left out a lot of files in the win 10 upgrade for Backward compatibility ( running your installed Win7 Apps )
Hence needing that platform update .. A fresh Windows 10 would not have given you the issues.

Yeah, rule of thumb is never upgrade to a newer version of Windows. Always install fresh.
Updates are fine, but not upgrades - Windows has always been that way

Hello there! Not seen you since I used to frequent the AGK forums Hope things are going well. Game Guru is a bit of a different take on game making than AGK and may take a bit of getting used to. You should find the scripting fairly easy to get into coming from AGK though as lua is similar in most ways. Although you have to do a bit more manual digging around for commands than in AGK (no F1 help commands here).

I still mess about in both, currently been playing about with a retro re-make in AGK with a friend actually. I have too many projects on the go to be honest Welcome to Game Guru!
SPECS: Ryzen 1700 CPU. Nvidia 970GTX. 16 Gig Memory. Win 10.
