What are ".cso" files in Max?
Are they meant to be used individually by us in the game making process?
If so then how would we make use of them?
Perhaps in fpe files like the .fx files are used in original GameGuru?

Do I really need to know...?

Compiled shader objects. A bit like .blob files I should imagine

Just what I found online

I don't think these files are usable by us could be just internal to Max functions.

I would like to be able to edit them via VS.
