In live broadcast #10 Leewas asked will Max still be released on the 1st of September.

His response was that he had never said that, saying...

"If you can send me a post on when the 1st of September was proposed then i will be able to refute it, but we have never given an actual date in September as to when the release is going to be, I challenge you to prove me wrong"

.... so ... there you go .... Not only promised, but published on Steam ...

I think Lee was saying HE had never said a date possibly TGC have, it does not matter to me and i think a few others if its 1st October or 1st November, progress has been brilliant

Oh don't get me wrong, i don't care when it's release as long as we get a good product (and what we have so far is very good), i just don't like being challenged to prove something has been announced while they deny it, when it has been announced in multiple places, it's unprofessional.

Thanks for pointing out where it was written, some nice discovery work there! The Steam date of the 1st was set up many moons ago, I guess we needed to put a date in so the 1st seemed fine for September. I never had the 1st in my head for the last few months, and had planned to release mid to late September during the run-up. I will make an announcement Thursday to provide more clarity on this, but I can confirm here that we are not releasing GameGuru MAX on the 1st of September, and will probably be amending the Steam page in a few days with a more up to date prediction. Thanks for finding the quotes, I probably should have thought to look on Steam
GameGuru Classic will continue to be supported with bug fixes and functionality additions.
