I'm still here and looking forward to GG Max !!! How are we looking with the photon MP system? are we still expecting a full version release in september ? Will MP be available upon release ??? Will MP be able to do TPV ??? Will we get a server console ??? Will we be able to edit the console ??? ....and will we be able to build standalone MP game's !!???

Release is in september but, the multiplayer is limited to a deathmatch, if u hope for creating games like counter strike with it u will be dissapointed.

We still have not had much info on how MP works yet except Photon just replaces the steam server.

Yeah very little info about MP, so expect very little to appear. In fact if you are really hoping for good multi-player stuff above all else I would hold fire from getting it. I don't see it getting any work done on it for awhile. If Lee starts flitting from one feature to the next again without getting them complete people will not be happy at all.

Im pretty sure Max will be focused on the single player experience with MP being just the basics.
This time though at least you wont need your friends to own Max as well which was the biggest issue with steam.

Honestly .....thinking out of the box "team death match" is a good start and thinking of the possibility's can lead to something NEW! So you make a nice puzzle like map....you pit players against each other to not just shoot one another but maybe complete other objectives such as "defuse the Bomb"..."Open Doors to let other players continue"...."Complete the objective" ! These are just scripts that need to be written! !

An editable console would be nice.....scripts are needed..... I think like me most just enjoy GG because WE all like to make maps. Being able to share our MAP's can help US ALLL. Making a game is not E_Z but the drive here is the the love to Create .

No matter what ....I love to Create and I want to share!...

Until GG or Max's commands give us that ability, we can't write any multi-player scripts. Believe me, we have asked many times in the past for this It may become possible with the new system, but we will have to wait and see.

Don't take this the wrong way, but personally I don't like to make maps!
It's kinda tedious work, copy and paste is missing, and the widget is a bit
weirded up.
While the scripting - I enjoy learning that, the only unjoy is when there comes
a part that GG has attenuated and cannot be reconciled through work- arounds...

One of the main requests for MP has always been to be able to create a MP standalone, Just swapping from steam to photon is tbh pretty pointless if you can just share it with none gg users as its pretty much the same as before. It would seem then that Max is just GG for those with higher end graphics cards and no real improvement on core gameplay. All us MP heads want to see MP get some love but time will tell.
