When I attempt to save a standalone, I get this large black box at the center of the screen,
with several boxes inside, outlined in white.

No text or labels ?? Can't get it to save??

What am I doing wrong?

Can you copy over the folder in the titlesbank folder to your standalone folder.
See if that will make it work for you.

I do not have a stand-a-lone folder in my GGC Files folder. And which folder inside titlesbank do I copy??

When I read Myke's reply, I was yes spot on, as this can happen when exceeding address space.
Though after reading your posts @GoDevils, are you saying that when you attempt to go ; File/Save Standalone it crashed on you? Also successful saved games are located via Documents/GameGuruFiles/MyGames.

Have you tried verifying ...The usual stuff.
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

@GoDevils, use the [choose File/ upload file] button option below text input area when reply.
Also please remember gg shares the 32bit address space, make sure your not running too many apps sharing this memory.
