hi:
Greatingns to all.
i am trying to figure out what can i do with this thing i am working
i am using death valley.fpm as an experiment on how my idea mite work..
since it has buildings with passways
if i put the zombies on ground they attack me and follow me.. thats fine.
if i put them on the stairs they go down and atack me..thats fine
if i put them on the pass way..or inside a house the stay still,, only atack if i am very very close to them
..if i walk away not so far they stand still
i want them to atack or follow me like when they are on the ground.
if i put character enemies with uzi pistols etc they work OK.they atack me
what can i do with the zombies?.what do i change ?on their properties .if this is posible?
i dont ask for the script since i dont now how to work with it.
no programing savy.
is there a way i can do this?

Make sure that forcesimpleobstacle = 3 statement is in the fpe file of those buildings.
Also make sure that there is at least 4 to 5 feet of space for them to move around.
In test game you can check the collider borders of objects by clicking tab tab in test game and move the debug slider to 10.

the forcesimpleobstacle=3
there about 4-5 feet to move arround
the debug slider i put it to 9 ..because in 10 the terrain went to color red
the rest they move a certain space be cause i saw that the passways were
made of sections and they didnot croos those sections and they doesnot
move as if they were on the ground
i will continue eperimenting..with the little knowlage i have on this case.
i wuld like it to work as i want ..but if not ..i will keep it simple

Hi there,
I spent a couple of years showing Lee to define issues like these, to be able to even consider spending time to go over this. 1. what script are you using? When you say house, are you referring to a solid model? Placed before or after placement/test? More info and/or overhead would be great.

hi:
i found that the passways were in segments
i deleted 3 segments and stech the other one to fit the deleted ones
i plce the 2 enemies i was testing and they atack me and follow me
so now i now what to do
