I have many skyboxes in my folder and none of them displays the moving clouds.
Is there something I am missing? I can't upload a skybox folder here because that would be against the rules.

Is there some sort of setting that disables it?

Hi Duchenkuke

First of all you need to name ALL your files the same, you should have:

Sunset_06_B.dds -----> your back
Sunset_06_D.dds -----> your down
Sunset_06_F.dds ----> your front
Sunset_06_L.dds -----> your left
Sunset_06_R.dds -----> your right
Sunset_06_U.dds -----> your up

Sunset_06_CLOUDS.dds

secondly the Sunset_06.x needs to be ASCII based all of the above textures need to be named in the X file except the Sunset_06_CLOUDS.dds do not reference that in the X file.

Thirdly the skyspec.txt needs to be called 'skyspec.txt' not the same convention as your texture names.

for moving clouds all that is required is the *_CLOUDS.dds and in the skyspec.txt add these lines:

I have attached a skybox i made a while ago with moving clouds use this as your template

Thanks for posting @GraPhiX

I loaded it in gg but still didnt see moving clouds...

I am very sure I am missing something...
maybe there was a setting somewhere in the effectbank folder that controls the clouds?

Here are the screenshots with settings:

hmm strange.. yea your clouds are showing.. In my gameguru installation they dont work..
I remember it working a few months ago though. Very strange! Maybe something was changed in the effectbank folder. I will look into that.
Thanks for testing!

Cant do a verify... It would delete tons of custom media I created for my game.
I am sure it's a setting somewhere... Let me check that first
