Hello,

I replaced the "Fire1", "Fire2", "Fire3", "Fire4".wav files with a sound of my own that was one second in length and when I go to test the sound, the sound doesn't play in game guru. I made sure the names were exactly the same and have tried a different sound to no avail. Does anybody have a copy of the sounds or have any ideas how to fix this?

to get the originals back simply delete your edited ones, then in steam go to your library, right click GameGuru in the list and select properties, then under the local files tab select "verify the integrity of application files", that will download any missing files for you.

GG is fussy about the file type and such so you need to be sure the sounds match the same format as the originals - mono/stereo, bitrate etc
