If i want to use GGmax and use some of the existing GG entities, would it be better to copy over all the entities that i want to use into the new GGMax folder for my project , and then i will end up having a lot of models duplicated on my Pc and taking up space, Or are there a way to copy Just the necessary files Of GGmax into the original GG Classic folder and some how get GGmax to work , with all the original models off GG Classic with out coping all the models over that i want to use and then ended up with a lot of duplicated models on my computer.
Any thoughts on this.

What I'm doing is to copy form GG just the models I need for my level, withing GGMax.
Files from GG may work fine in GGMax, but not the opposite, ie some map (fpm) from GG work fine in GGMax.

Im sure there must be a way to copy Max into the Classic folder in, and then i can just carry one working with new maps or open existing maps. ???

The best way really is not to use it.
Its was just an alpha 1 to show off the GUI and no guarantees any of that will work in the final Max.

I would second that. Its not even September yet. As Lee had advised, anything can change between now and then and he recommended to not start or move any project in, between this time.

I personally wouldn't even throw my whole project in till Maybe even Oct-Nov. Even by then, it would be just for testing purposes to do reporting for Github.

Yes, and for testing purposes, I did my own level.
No guns no chars, yet. However, most classic items work fine in GGMax.
And because many things are going to change, I'm working on the same level in GG.

When the war ended, due to the bacteriological weapons of the enemy, some soldiers have turned into zombies, they have mutated, their bodies seem deformed.

I only know 2 things, the night should not surprise you out there, I must find a safe place before night comes.

And the other thing is that at the moment I am going to ignore the zombies, and I am going to teach what GGMax in the alpha phase can do, and also some failure, such as the camera that sometimes changes position, sometimes the entity mode button suddenly disappears. and I say this for information only.

Retro scene with the extreme apo sky.
Because no guns, sometime player should run. LOL
Sorry, not video editor installed currently, due I ran format c: recently, and I rely usually in movie maker but the last build of windows does not install movie maker never again. Anyway, I hope you get the point.

Quote: "most classic items work fine in GGMax."

Basically the first Alpha is GameGuru all but.
I renamed the files folder in Max to " files2 " and then copied my GameGuru " files " folder over . I was able to load and play the whole of Protascope from start to finish without any issues except I could not die ( which was expected ) and it did not look as good. ( very pale )

My point was you cant really test anything as its all been removed and replaced with Wicked. Your still better off creating your game in GG to load up in the final Max ( just do not use the CC as they wont be compatible )
