Stupid Question:

Why is the DLC's through Steam so much cheaper than through thegamecreators store?

Just bought the newly released Retro 80s Pack

Paid R94 (South African Rand) - STEAM

But if I bought though the store, it would have workout around R233 (South African Rand)

Sometimes a deal is only on Steam and other times its only on the main Website.
It pays to check both before making a purchase.

Nope, reason is regional pricing, TGC store front pricing is fixed on their region and reflects as the base price.

here for example on the cold war DLC

Actually your incorrect. Deals vary on steam and on the main website frequently. I think they rotate it every 4 weeks or so.
I know because Rick has answered this one many times on Customer support.
Not saying Regional prices do not differ but thats not the main reason.

No, I am not, regional pricing. If the product is sold on steam and sold via TGC, the discount is exactly the same and the same base price of $29.99. Seriously I provided a link showing the various prices people pay in different regions and how much less or more each region pays compared to the base price of $29.99. It is a steam key TGC sells and is still required to pay steam their 30%.

In fact South Africa the country the OP is from like me, the price for the cold war pack is R175.00 versus the full price of $29.99 or around 24.99 in pounds. ZAR to Dollars https://www1.oanda.com/currency/live-exchange-rates/USDZAR/ With one dollar equal to R17.36 at the time of posting this. We South Africans pay pending the exchange rate at full price for the cold war DLC about $10.00 however the base price remains R175.00 regardless of the exchange rate, meaning TGC gets less or more more money, pending on the ZAR performance.TGC is simply priced in USD, euro, or pounds which can be set on the check out. However the base price is in USD, and you do score a bit if you pay in those those currencies.

Steam keys not sold on steam or TGC website may have different pricing (discount) due to having to share profits, like fanatical unless it is a steam sale.Right now the cold war DLC on fanatical is 60% as well.

Discount on DLCs not owned by TGC will cycle every 16 weeks, to a max discount of 60%, I should know this is what is stated in the contract I signed for the cold war DLC. Prices and discount in USD matches that of the TGC and steam. Because you are in the UK your steam price is different as you are in a different region. However TGC is priced in USD regardless of the region.Which is why unless the TGC physically alters region pricing for each region which can take time. TGC uses the default regional pricing steam suggest.

I suggest you check with the website admin before spreading miss information.

Compromised viewpoints (meeting in the middle)
doesn't always signify a weakened data set- but could in fact
come closer to hitting all targets full center.
