Hi,
I've been spending sometime going through global.lua and trying to get an idea of the various calls available. Well, from about line number 1112 (as listed via notepad ++) all the way to end about line 2016 the code is commented out.
Is the code there in case we run into some legacy code for reference, or it still useful ? Or is my copy of the file an older outdated one. I do get my files updated via steam, so I would think I have the latest copy.

That is just a reference for the engines functions.

they are commands you can use but haven't got their actual functions exposed in global.lua
i.e. using SetCameraAngle ( c, x, y, z ) is fine, you just can't change the function itself (which isn't really a good idea anyway)

Yes, there are a bunch more functions in the modules: utillib.lua & physlib.lua!
Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!

And the particle system too.
About the player control commented lines, I do not use them yet, but they look to me like a bit hardcoded most of them, at least not most friendly use.
