When seen from a distance my zombies often slide along waypoints without animating. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Shoot them. If they dead, they shouldn't slide.

Okay, seriously. I think I've read comments that this might be a Classic memory
boundary (32 b) issue. Is the level pretty much populated more than a very small
village?
The question I've been wanting to ask the community is; how do you see the
memory usage per level-- I'm thinking there was a screen to show that?

Make them always active possibly will fix it.

I think there is a really dodgy hard coded limit in GG on how far away animation is visible, was probably done for performance reasons as animation is quite expensive but the limit is way too close.
Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!

Yeah, I agree, I've spent way too much time trying to fix these odd issues in the past. Odd hidden limits in GG annoy me. I really think any hard coded limits should be changeable though. GG is pretty fast compared to how it was now,so having limits like this do not help when wondering why your AI works fine then freezes but still moves along sort of.

Always active should mean just that
