Seems to be a bug in the weapon and pickuppable scripts-- as well as some
very strange ActivateMouse anomaly.
To be honest, I am on the December 2019 build, but my pickuppable
script is from March, 2020

Earlier I posted that my weapon seems to appear when it should stay shouldered.
This happens after it seems calling the ActivateMouse -- ((my own script)) that's
what I'm assuming. Why that happens, I don't have a clue!!!?

So now with the weapon/pickuppable-- If you have a weapon, and a pickuppable
item in front of you, generally there's no problem. Pickuppable is deactivated.
But try to right click mouse to rotate item-- the camera becomes locked and
there's no response to get out of this lockup. Has this been fixed in later versions?
Thanks.

Is there any way to deactivate weapons completely while doing
other things with the mouse?? I hope!

My suspicion is that it might have to do with the mouse scroll function
which brings up your weapons...? Edit #2-- I had hopes to find a scroll mouse
function in the "weapons.lua" script. Not there. ................ Found an almost
acceptable solution below...

Edit #3-- Found a way to deactivate weapons and restore them.
Except that it makes player carry weapon after they are reactivated;
SetPlayerWeapons(0)
