Product Chat / Y does the weapon rise?

Okay guys, here's a strange one for ya. But maybe someone knows this is simple
and why this would happen?
((First, the player is carrying one (1) weapon, but it's not in use before activating
the switch...))
I have a switch I turn on. I have the player press "Y" to turn on the switch.
Upon the player pressing "Y", the weapon comes out ready to use, when before
it was put away. This is not desirable but mysterious.

Tests: I tested the "Y" input on another scripted object and it didn't activate the weapon.
I added ActivateMouse also to another object script since that was a part of the script
that is behaving in this strange manner. This didn't activate the weapon.

I changed press "Y" to press "U" in the odd script, without any other changes, and that
turned off this behavior. ?!? So anybody can solve the who-done-it riddle? - Or Y?!
