HeyHo dear GG Developers,

the last days I played a little bit around with other Engines. Unity, Unreal, Godot and so on... just looking, I don't plan to switch.
Every one has it pros and cons. I only saw some thinks I would love to have in GameGuru Max.

At first, the Material Selector. Every Engine is having something like this. Just drag&drop the material to any prefup. I wish that woud even be in GG. Not in the EBE. Globally. Same with texture selecter. Just drag&drop it on anything in your game an bam. It's there. It could be grass, wood, water, lava, something else.

Second thing is the integration of an Editor. Unity for example is using c# in MS Studio. And it is great integrated. Just click in unity3d on a script, wait 2 seconds and the editor is there. Very smooth, with Syntax highlighting, code suggestions and direct workflow in unity, after saving a script.
Don't get me wrong. I dont want c# or MS Studio in GG. What I want is an Lua Editor, that brilliant integrated. That it opens everywhere it is needed and.. don't works as tool for GG. Better as thing IN GG.
Iwould help to code such an editor, if neccesary.

Third thing is... the engines are much more object oriented. That could be a way to bring more logic to GG.

Generally I sugest, look at (example) Unity3D yourself. Don't copy it. I dond need an AAA Engine. But there are some methods in it, that I think would be working very well in GG, without making it more complicated. Even a little bit easyer.

You are right, GG does not offer something like so, at least not nowadays, and of course, I wish those features as well.
Anyway, GGMax is going to provide most of them, if you want to give a try.

I tried Max... it's great and defintly a big step. But something is missing for me.

I don't suggest the things and want them in the next builds. Just ideas for general in anytime.
