What would happen if you had zero gravity in GameGuru ? , this

Me and Amenmoses added dynamic convex hull to GG , and i just could not stop playing around.

Shame GG has not heard of Newtons 1st law.
But still fun.

Cool effect, very handy for space games.
Do you means GGMax only?

There's all kinds of idea's that will come from this.

I hope the zero gravity can be done within the confines of a trigger zone. That way certain rooms in the space station can have no gravity and other rooms with gravity.

I hate to be that guy, but surely those objects wouldn't slow down like they do? OK they're not in a vacuum so wind resistance would gradually decelerate them, but very, very slowly.

Either way, fun video.

@bluemeenie195-
You come up with the best references.
Certainly just like gravity currently cannot be scripted ((in the hard-coded realm))
we also don't want to see gravity being only off or only on. So not only would
trigger points be nice, but scripted gravity and specifically at locations
and targeted entities similar to sounds. There ya go! 3D- gravity.
I'm wondering what "dynamic convex hull" really means @Preben?

@Belidos -- I'm feeling the hurt with you...

"dynamic convex hull" simply means that we have the convex hull physics shape working for dynamic entities now.

Would really like to get poly shape working as well but that is a tad more difficult.

Bullet physics does not have a polygonal collision shape that is dynamic.
You need to use convex hull decomposition for the models then create a compound convex hull collision shape
which can be dynamic. This will also allow shifting the center of mass of the physics object.

The coffee is lovely dark and deep, and I have code to write before I sleep.

I been using the blender game engine lately 2.9. I been having a lot of fun messing around with vehicle and flight mechanics. Blender uses the bullet physics. I'm bummed out that they stopped supporting blender game. Also,I was hoping Lee could add better vehicle and flight to the engine. It would open up new adventures Lol. S.I.T.D that's a awesome program you have going on there. I bet there are a lot of g.g. users that would love that added to the engine. Preben,Amenmoses, doing some more amazing things. You see people, even Preben can't stop messing around with this. And just think of the fun he would have if he had
full vehicle and flight controls at his finger tips Lol. Soo Cool.

Blenders game engine has been taken up as a separate project by some of the community, I forget the name of the project now, but it's out there.

Awesome work guys.
That's something! I remember waiting for the current student
to finish their turn-- and the instructor said there was no time
limit, but also looked to almost fall asleep watching the group
go through. I had already operated a forklift for a few months
before I got certified on them. Amazon or any other production
company would send you home! Light foot on that gas pedal!

J/K. What would be AWESOME is if all of these wondrous machines and scripts
could go into MULTI- PLAYER so instead of just shooting everyone else, you could
have competitions like who can load up the truck the quickest-- and then maybe
run down and shoot out the truck tires as they are trying to get away! Lot's of
possibilities if only MP could handle customized scripts and objects.

Funny, I was just watching ( construction 2019 sim,)on somebody's youtube channel. I was checking out the forklift. Amenmoses nailed it. It just needs some workable gauges. That's about it. I thought up a game using a payloader. Your payloading your way out from a burning city. Streets are covered with building debris and what not. While being trailed by the enemy.. Kinda like pacman!

@Graphix. I've read the books and played the game a little on the Amiga. Never read the books till way after that though. I haven't tried it in Max, wasn't aware it had been put in that at all yet. I've only tinkered with it a little though.

It works fine with the new physics script now

The new physics Lua commands are in both builds but the physlib isn't included yet. But it is available here now.

@DVader : Are those crates still jumping around btw? If so what frame rate are you getting?

@AmenMoses. Mostly 60, dips very occasionally down to 56, but rare.

No Discworld box life now

Do see this at the start though, but apart from a small wobble at the start seems to be working.

Ahh good. It is quite tricky getting physics constraints to play nice with each other so I've got a short delay built into the script to allow things to settle down.

Anyway I am ALL IN for a half-way realistical ZERO GRAVITY-switch. It would add tons of fun to some Sci Fi Worlds & Levels....

I´d pay 5,- EUR extra for the ZERO GRAVITY PlugIn... (giggles).
