HI all,
My Son in law just bought GG Clasic,
He is running GG on his lap top , but every now and again GG freeze and restart, sometime with deferent error messages.
Here is his laptop Stats is it ok or not.?

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G3260 @ 3.30GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.3GHz RAM 16GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 730
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Minimum requirements of GG:
2GB Video Card (Minimum Shader Model 5.0)

the laptop vram is 128mb.

The stats are not ok

Ok so what does this error message mean

In the bios you should be able to raise the vram to at least 2gb for GG.

synchromesh says about it, just try it.

You can also try:

uncoment this line in "setting.fx" file (effects\reloaded)

//#define LAPTOP // Make everything faster for laptops, will also remove DOF,MB,SAO. Lower shadow, remove grass normals, distance improvements.

it should looks like:

Related issues

Anyway Laptop with intel graphic card is not the best way to go with GG.

With Intel and apu graphics, the don't have their own dedicated memory. It uses physical ram as needed. It has pre allocated min ram, if you read the actual DX diag you would have noticed it is allowed to use a max of 4 gig ram.

The issue is gameguru, not the graphics or laptop.

Win10 Pro 64bit----iCore5 4590 @ 3.7GHZ----AMD RX460 2gb----16gig ram

Indeed.
But the problem with this is that it is going to be slower than a graphicscard with GDDR on board.
Though in settings.fx there are many adjustments which can be set in order to make it run faster.

Hmm this error could mean a lot. I would reinstall the visual c++ runtimes like 3com said. GG should run at least.
You should watch the ram, if GG needs 4gb, your ram could be full and crashes GG.
