Can Anyone help me.
How can i only display once cycle of a decal's animation and then stop or hide it after the one cycle?
Is it possible?

well decals are normally set to try play 1 loop per second so you can destroy it after 1 second
you can use this to test - set the decal health to how many seconds you need
(i'm assuming you are spawning the decal on a trigger or something)

however it will still be looping while hidden (not spawned) and i'm not aware of any fix for that - so you will get random start and end frames

Thank you Smallg , will test now.
Ok test it, but have no health on decal, did some mod on script, and its working perfect.
Thank you Smallg.

Is there a video on unique uses of particles?
I can handle standard uses, but these unique methods?
Must call for just the right settings...

In max we have dynamic lua, which exposes scripted variables to the properties panel, this means we can change the particle script variables in the editor instead of editing the script

What belidos said
You will need to expose the variables yourself if it's not already done but there should be some examples if you use graphixs weather decals as I converted those - they have a lot of settings so it should cover everything you need.
