I'm guessing Lee is just tidying up for the Alpha release for the 14th..... any news?

No you will get a download from your TGC account. Steam keys are not available until the full September release.

Just a reminder, back up your projects if you intend to open them in Game Guru Max. This is an early alpha.

You should be safe in general, as GG Max will have its own folder. So if you are moving a project over to GG Max make sure its a copy.

When Lee announces the release please keep the alpha questions or reports to that thread so he doesn't have to go through loads of Threads.

Good Question
What I do know is if I open a map in GG and later open an old GG DX9 backup the last map I loaded in GG is in the list and will load it from the other files folder. That would mean any saving would be in the other folder … I would try it out first by saving a blank map in GG and see if it pops up in the Max list ?

If so then copy your files folder into Max and rename the one in GG to "files2" to be sure.

That was a precaution whilst using Max.
Obviously you rename it back when using GG but you were kidding and knew that right ..

Haven't ordered it yet-- can wait until the 20th, 30th, or whenever.
But-- hoping that;
A> it does NOT conflict with GG Classic, it finds it's own residence
on my HD in peace and stability without a lot of hacking.
B> it starts and operates. // I know it's *Alpha*, far from perfect!
