It will be released when they finally release it. Supposedly on the 14th. But what if they run into an issue? So, let's just wait for the announcement.

Just to clarify its an Alpha not a Beta. It will probably be very limited being such an early version.
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

I expect a first Alpha to get a vague feeling for UI and workflow, and the opportunity to test + get familiar with the new character creator. If I get that, I am happy already.
