I know i have said this somewhere else in the forum, but this is actually very nice the way that now if you lock and entity it does not fade out.

Can i ask for one extra future please Lee.
I saw today when i was locking some entities that they don't fade out, it is actually very nice , because if you work with water or another entity that you want to align to a certain height then you cant see nicely were to set your entities because of the one that you have just lock.

So it would be supper cool if maybe you can give us the option to fade out or not to fade out the entity that you lock. please can you do this . and not just for GGmax but also for GG classic.
Thank you.

To be honest I always thought the fade out thing was a bug .. Im not sure it was ever supposed to do that.
Half the time it didn't really fade it was like a very bad "Tab Mode" you had no control over although "Tab Mode " works great with a locked building and assets now ..
Auto Unlock on launching test game would be a better option as I see the problem now may be forgetting to unlock it

This seems to be fixed for the next build

https://github.com/TheGameCreators/GameGuruRepo/issues/738

Which I hope so as TAB does not work for layered entities. For example, an object inside a drawer is not visible in any way shape or form. Also, no way to dig through clutter layers, or see waypoints and other markers.

The fix appears to actually make it impossible to see through the objects now when locked. Ironically my bug report worked against my intention

Hmmmm... yeah, was just thinking how difficult working inside buildings
for placing smaller items is still a slow-going task for obstruction reasons.

Are you saying that TAB and CTRL mouse wheel does not diminish the
entity layer with latest version? How then can we work on objects inside
buildings, etc?
(I'm still under December version, so that is still working here...)

I agree with PCS, and I think there is something where you scroll the mouse
while some way to still see the framework of the entity, but also select things
that are behind it. In other words, yeah a framing/ highlighting effect seems
perhaps legit.

How about when you hit (tab) and hover your mouse, then objects under the
mouse (below other objects) are revealed layer by layer by mouse scroll...?

No, I'm saying that when you click on the entity and lock them, they do not go semi-transparent like in the past. Which was useful for selecting markers or smaller entities below. Ideal for complex levels. Not talking about buildings, which TAB works fine for.

Like i said , it would be nice to have the option when you lock to have it see thru or not. That would solved all our problems
