Max doesn't really exist yet, at the moment it's just gameguru with new UI and some updated features, there's no point in asking for demos to test performance yet because between now and the September release they will be completely changing the core of the software, there will be a shift to 64bit, a completely new terrain system, and a whole new rendering and lighting system. Don't expect any demo levels to test until nearer the release, and if we do get some earlier don't expect the performance to be anything close to the final performance.

GameGuru MAX has barely begun development yet. Only the UI, Character Creator, and a few other pieces have been coded. The new terrain and new rendering engine coding has not begun yet (or has just barely begun). Therefore, there is no way to judge either quality or performance ... yet. MAX is not due to be released until September.

Hi all
Just for clarity:
MAX already exists. It is Classic with all the enhancements in the Sneak Peak, which you will get this month when alpha build is released.

Quote: "The repo we are working with is Private so we can move bug fixes across the various product varieties (i.e. Classic fixes will make it into the MAX builds if appropriate). Work on MAX begins in April, initially to prepare an alpha-build promised on the pre-order page."

What will really set MAX apart form Classic, is when the big features get added, which is what happens between pre-alpha release and September Launch.

More info from Lee here.

Yeah, you will be getting alpha release of MAX around the 14 of April. So yeah MAX exists already. Lee simply means the new graphics engine, terrain, and 64 bit parts don't exist yet.

I just purchased GameGuru Max. I would like to know exactly how MAX will work with Oculus Quest. Basically what I am asking is whether we will be able to use GameGuru MAX to build our game and whether this can be side loaded onto the Oculus Quest and then will the game be playable as a VR Game, with the ability to Grab weapons, teleport etc like a normal VR game.
