Verified, I have spent a couple hours trying different approaches and various
conditions to see if this is a bug or could it be my script??
Can't be because when there's no hit, the stock sound and 'hit effect' does
not appear.
After this new update there seems to be a collision [hit] detection issue for
weapons. Weapon damage upon objects is glitchy-- it's off and on-- it just depends
on the angle and ?? I don't know if it's a direct weapons issue, but it's just cropped
up, so it seems to be the update. I have used the battle axe, pry bar and
"homeade slasher" just for random testing. My game relies upon damaging the
object so -- yeah, this just started to happen.
Player collision is no problem. I have also hired the uzi to test the same
hypothesis. Same results. I can stand there shooting the object, and sometimes
it gets damaged, and sometimes it does not. I am using a complexly shaped
object, so perhaps I will throw some simpler objects down and keep testing.
