Hello Game Guru community: I searched around and saw bits and snippets of explanations for this, but nothing I could use or act upon...

I built and compiled my latest game on Game Guru using Windows 7, as I had not upgraded yet to win 10. Game ran and tested fine on Windows 7, and standalone game ran fine too.

Then I gave the standalone to a friend, who tried to run it on Windows 10 - it crashes on loading process. He also tried it on a Win 8 machine, same thing.

Any solutions welcome, I'd really like to share the game Curently, it can only be played on Windows 7 it seems

maybe the Visual C++ Redistributables are missing.

Heyho, two things that come to my mind:

1. Libraries missing, as MooKai said. Make sure to install the AiO packages on your system.
2. I had the same issue on both Father`s Island (GG) and Into the Dark (FPSC). Worked "fine" on Win7 64bit but load-crashes on 8.1 and 10. The reason was the memory management there, I simply hit the memory limit much earlier there. After slashing down mem usage by 25-30%, Fathers Island started running on those systems. What are your setup.ini settins regarding memory? Do you have baked or realtime shadows?

They be in bug fix mode this month so might be an idea to report that on GitHub....

I hope that will be gone with MAX
My project is now on hold, because of the mem problem.
