I remember when I first started using Game-Guru, and I had the same issues. I kept getting the same error message at login. I emailed support, and they said it was my browser. I'm sure it is related.

Look, I cleared my history, I enabled cookies, I tried another browser (MS Edge) and it worked. I do not want to have to change browsers just to use the forums. What the heck is wrong with your login system?

I linked my TheGameCreator account with Steam, and just double checked it.

I can't log in through Steam, or directly into the Game-Guru forum site. I know others have had the same issue, as I remember seeing it on the forums before, I tried searching about it but to no avail. Please help. Thanks.

Hmn, strange. It must be something in your installation or setup of Chrome, i and many others use Chrome exclusively and don't seem to have any issue with it. In fact usually when there is an issue it's with firefox and the advice is to use Chrome because it's the most stable on this forum.

Do you have any extensions that might effect it? Is your virus protector stopping anything from running? The message shown usually happens because you're not allowing the login session cookiees to be saved for the site, is your cookiee setting too high? Is your security suite blocking cookiees?

Looks like it's an issue with a recent update to Chrome, Google have been getting a ton of reports about people being unable to log in and getting this message on multiple websites.Apparently if you uninstall Chrome and reinstall it from the google download it should fix the issue.

Interesting, Belidos. I contacted tech support and a guy from TGC is working on it because he said he logged out of his account, and he is getting the same error. I already messed around with cookies and permissions. I shall try uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome.

It may be an update to chrome has made the login tokens work different on some websites, and the websites need to update, but from what i'm seeing on the help pages for chrome quite a few fixed it by reinstalling chrome, you never know google might have fixed that issue and broke it for other websites since then, wouldn't be the first time.

I reinstalled Chrome, to no avail. I'm using MS Edge right now, which is annoying, but pleasantly transparent in some ways. Not too slow.

Not too much to do at work at the moment, so I tested 3 computers.
On one PC I could fix it by reinstalling Chrome, but that didn't help on the other 2 PC's (one of these never had Chrome installed before)...
