Does anyone spoken to the developers about GG error handling?
As long as I've know, the error handling consists of:
Runtime error ...x.x.x.
....wait a minute, and GG starts to load a "backup" map.
....2 minutes later you are in a locked up state in some map.
Done. Wait, nope? Break out by Windows, close the GG window-
3 minutes later to restart GG to blank map.

Anyhow, I just thought I'd check. There could be a better procedure.
No way to just go to a new, blank map-- all memory reset in 20 seconds?
I was just running a text script, and maybe I entered some improper
syntax or parameters somewhere-- but it made a runtime error. Gee!

Its important to take note of those runtime errors. They give hints as to why your game may be freezing, crashing, closing etc.

Here is the list:

Thank you Teabone - very useful, particularly Error(0)
Seriously though, there's a lot of useful info there - is this your own creation?

Yeah, if you get an error that causes GG to reload the level, the reloaded map will usually not function correctly.

So what I do is, note the info given by the error, and then kill the GG via Task Manager - in the long run it is quicker that waiting for GG to reload the level that will be in an unstable state anyway.
