Hey gang!

I'm looking for a way to increase the grass draw distance. There must be a value somewhere that defines that and I wish to increase it. Is this hard coded or can it be altered?

I thought that's what the 'vegetation' slider did under Graphics Options in test game. But by default it seems to be set to 100 and that looks to be the maximum. You could always try Duchenkuke's method for getting multiple grasses. That way all your grass tufts would be entities and would/should be effected by the occlusion settings.

Hmm, yes! Yet I was indeed hoping for a value I could tweak.
Ah well, work around it is then.

Just deleting the blob file should be enough to force a reload (actually a recompile ) of the shader.
Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!

Yup, the force reload entry just deletes the bob and forces gameguru to recreate them, deleting the blob file manually does exactly the same thing.

Except that force reload will also provide meaningful error messages, whereas the compile from delete only will not, just a generic error.

Cheers.
