Whilst I've been using Game Guru for a while, I am new to modelling.

Here a few freebies. Nothing special and probably have been done many times before. But, we all got to start somewhere.

I welcome any and all feedback as I am still learning!

1 x Wooden Crate, 1 x Wooden Table and 1 x Small Wooden Fence

Thanks,

Appreciate the kinda words all!

Working on some more simple models. Hoping to increase the complexity as I get more skilled.

Thanks,

I've got a few more freebies here. Again, nothing special and most likely there is 100 of these floating around, but surely there is some use for them somewhere!

I welcome any and all feedback as I am still learning!

Very nice models my friend.

But that barbed wire fence, wow, that would be no good in a game, it's over 68 thousand tri's, that would be a game killer if you had more than a couple of them, for an entity of that type you need it to be as low as possible, definitely no higher than 5 thousand tri's.

Belidos,

Thanks!

I had a feeling that was going to be a point of discussion. I actually brought the tri's down from a much larger amount but turns out it still wasn't enough. Will have to work on lowering it even more!

Thanks for the feedback.

With something like that you're better off using transparent image textures on planes, you'll never get it low enough to be useful in a game environment if you are modelling every little barb etc. you need to learn how to fake it. Good work so far though.

Hello all,

Here is another freebie. A bit more detail and effort, and the texture resolution is double what all the other models have been.

As always, I welcome any and all feedback as I am still learning!

1 x Small Wooden Fence V2

FYI - I'll be looking into using that method for sure Belidos. Appreciate the advice!

Thanks,
CorzaX
