I can get no better the 39fps on a new blank level.
Everything that can be zeroed out is at zero as far as the settings when you hit double tab.
Is there a way to increase the FPS?

Here is a little trick I have picked up over the years for a case like this … Should be flying but isn't ..
Try this …
Start Task manager ( ctrl- Alt Delete ) > select startup > disable everything listed in the startup file. Reboot the system.
If gg runs now with proper FPS then your problem is in the startup file.
The downside is you now need to enable the startup files one at a time until you find the cause.

I think the cause is the video card, a 1050 running at that resolution…

Ahh I see your Windows 7 sorry .. this is for Windows 10

I think its accessed this way in 7 … but still the same process …
Press Win-r . In the "Open:" field, type msconfig and press Enter .
Click the Startup tab.
Uncheck the items you do not want to launch on startup.

yes, most likely too high a resolution for GG to run well

The 1060 is good for HD gaming which is 1920x1080, your 1050Ti should be ok with that resolution.

It will take some getting used to going from what I had, but it is at a solid 59 to 60 FPS.
Thanks for the tip.

I am running a GTX 1060 1920x1080 and I get a solid 60 FPS on my Acer Predator w/17'' screen . Didn't like paying $1100.00 U.S. for it .

Now that you have it working...
The setup.ini file has a vsync setting. If the setting is "vsync=1 then gg is limited to reporting FPS of no greater then "60" or less.
Change the setting to vsync =0 then gg will not be limited in the FPS reporting of real FPS, may surprise you.

There isn't one but standalone MP is currently in progress.

There was a voting page for projects. Just wanted to know where to find that.

We got rid of that nearly a year ago … Everything is done via GitHub now.

@m2design
That Setup.ini worked great. Now I can see that I am running over 100fps.
Thanks
