HI all, just a quick question.
In my setup files i have these two settings.
forceloadtestgameshaders=0
pbroverride=1

i haven't change any thing in the setup and have no problem around these settings ( of witch i know )
i just want to know with the latest up date , what is the correct settings for them or aren't there any because it is depending on each users preference or not.

Maybe someone can just give some more info that would be supper.

Hey there PCS
Yeah, those are the default settings.

Quote: "forceloadtestgameshaders=0"

Set this to 1 if you make any changes to shaders in settings FX.
This will cause long loading time when GG starts up, as the system rebuilds the shaders.
Set back to 0 when happy with the changes you made in settings fx

Quote: "pbroverride=1"

GG will treat all models as PBR. The system will create missing maps (gloss, metal) based on the material index in FPE when you build standalone...
Set this 0 if you want your models to use DNSI.

HTH

MAPS ARE WORKING AGAIN.

I am now letting my mind wonder on the idea of a one level constantly changing map ,
to have endless story scenarios on the map, so to avoid to have to make a stand alone of more than one map.

...Father's Island...
Not changing, but according to reports, a single map-- worked miracles on.

Sounds like if possible, the way to go-- until we arrive in the present tense
or future, or past, or whatever works to give us an engine making working
compiled maps!
