So today I noticed there was a "ChromaticAberration.lua" script inside of the scriptbank. A quick look over it and it says "To test this , enable CHROMATICABBERATION and CHROMATICABBERATIONLUA in settings.fx". So I head over to settings.fx, and sure enough, there laid the two lines. I removed the "//" marks infront of them, re-booted GG and then tested the script. Drumroll and....nothing? Either the Chromatic Aberration is so subtle I cannot notice it, or the effect is broken, OR I did something wrong. If there is infact Chromatic Aberration in GG, could someone PLEASE help me figure this out? I would love to use CA in my levels

if you change shaders you need to open setup.ini and change
forceloadtestgameshaders=0
to
forceloadtestgameshaders=1
so the shaders will update

I gave this a shot and it didn't seem to work sadly ;(
GG did say it was reloading shaders and stuff as it booted up, so I got that right at least.

Is Chromatic Aberration just broken? Does it only work in Standalone? Or am I missing something?

@ Cyber
I did, but doesn't work for me either.
Running the December beta update.
Some pic?
I would like to see what expected to get on GG with that shader.

Followed them to a T. No luck

I've tried verifying the integrity of the files via Steam, I've tried reloading the shaders (setting forceloadtestgameshaders=1 and booting up GG) multiple times, I've even tried fiddling with all the tab tab options to see if some setting there was causing it to not work.

I know the script runs, because the text appears at the bottom of the screen ok. But there's no chromatic effect whatsoever

EDIT: I have no idea what I did differently, but I just tried it again, and now it worked? Well I guess as long as I got Chromatic Aberration working this is a win in my book! Thank you very much for your help everyone
