MY PROBLEM..
I made a small level to underestand the GG program.. since i dont know
nothig of programing,,,so what i do is trial and error...to see if what iam doing
works,
SO,,,,i made a small level a mauntain with a tunel,, enemies ,trees, a lake etc
everithing works fine in test mode
so i decided to do a standalone program to see how it worked.
it did fine ..that was last week...this week i desided to improuve
the level..save the changes so if something happend i will have tha last save.
desiding to test it as stanalone program i run the StandAlone program
save it where i did my firts level ...wala..this appears
run time error
game guru files/ my game..... cannot find the file level bank/test file
and this file is in the GG files folder
By the way i did use my documents/gameguru/my game
the first time and it worked...NOW it doesnot respond
i change the place to save my game
path C:/ program files x86/steam/ateam apps/comon/game guru/files/
mistery island/files/levelbank/test map..
the same : path/ files level bank can not be found
this file is in the gg files/ level bank /test map
so thats the problem. how to slove it?
i think to use the default folder of stand alone that appears when you are going to
save it.....it says if you want to use another path...
but i dont remember the default path that apears when you start it...
does any one knows??,, so i can go and use it?
and see if it was an error that i made.. changing the saving path?

You said you saved your standalone game to

C:/ program files x86/steam/ateam apps/comon/game guru/files/
mistery island/files/levelbank/test map

that looks really strange to me, your "levelbank" folder should be located inside the first files folder. I'm betting that is what is causing your error.

Move your levelbank folder inside your first files folder like so GameGuru/Files/levelbank.
For your standalone tests, you should be able to save it anywhere, I wouldnt recommend saving inside a random subfolder of your gameguru files. Best bet is to make a new folder on your main harddrive or desktop or somewhere familiar then save your standalone games to that.

Hi:
i solved the problem it was that i rename the level
so it didnot worked.
i used a saved level with the correct name run stand alone
and it saved inthe folder that had prepared
now it came or appear another problem
when i open the game made by standalone it
1.started to preparing the core files
2then when the menu apears and i press play
3it start loading and then apear this warning
failed to load the shader effect bank/galaxy seed/siren-effects 2 fx..
all game guru shaders need to be HJSL level 5.0 or above..
what that means i do not know.
i went to effectbank/galaxy seed/and there are a lot of sirens
female and male (a joke)..what are they i dont know.i could not open it
and if i did i dont know what to do..since i do not know the language
since i am not a programer. just an old 76year veteran that is trying
to play a little.. but i see that with GG it will be imposible.
what should i do? i dont know.. tryin fps creator that it has not give me any problem
and lost what i opay for GG
well if there any solution i will like to hear it

Copy everything from \effectbank\Galaxy Seed\ to your standalone and it will work

This bug was fixed in the version that was released yesterday , so if you update to the latest GG version it will also work.

is working fine.i did a new stand alone with
my level and it works
