Find a link to the announcement of the final GameGuru update of 2019. It's been a roller-coaster of a year, with plenty of development you have not quite seen yet, so definitely stick around in 2020 when we have some very cool things to share. For now, here is your early Christmas present:

we're going to need more info than that - which script is it? what sound file is it? is the new level an exact match to the original? are you sure you didn't make any changes?

@Flatlander,

Thank you so much!

Thank you, but I am yet far from becoming a master in any subject at this time; but perhaps just a hardworking beginner trying to do something good or fair to the others.

So, if you have any questions regarding the VIP or SEO AHIN scripts, please, just write your query or doubts in their respective comments or in the TGC Store Forum, and I will be glad to help you.

Season's Greetings!

You can't imagine my surprise to see that the lightmapper appears to work now.
Did you guys actually tweak it or is this a christmas miracle?

Hi Lee , Preben and all GG staff .

This update is totally awesome!!! It is the best Christmas gift ever. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am super impressed with the AI, they strafe, shoot and strafe, do barrel rolls, crouch and shoot and even look for cover! It is up there with the best AI I have ever seen in any game. Truly awesomely perfect and perfectly awesome!

Great work and once again thank you very much! Have a great new year everybody, the 2020 gonna be awesome for GG!

Just testing it out now, Im still however experiencing issues with this:

Quote: "Fixed issue of disappearing shadows when using the Freeze player functionalities"

however not directly with freeze player but maybe its the camera override commands causing the same bug?

@Teabone
What are you exactly trying to do ?
Freeze the player yes but for what to happen.
Or am I totally off track ?

He's freezing the player so that he can do "move to" shenanigans to emulate a grid based dungeon crawler, but when the freezeplayer command is used with the camera overrides it disables shadows for some odd reason.

Ahh right … I thought he may just want to pause and freeze like I have in Protascope ..
You can look around but not walk back or forward for a set time limit.

In-game editing of grass is still not working. I had mentioned this in another thread and it didn't seem to ring any bells for anybody. So, what I will do is show a tutorial by TGC regarding this. It was a really cool feature when it worked. In-game editing of the grass is discussed starting at about the 4-minute mark.

It is easy to test. Just see if you can get it to work just like the tutorial. When you try to add grass it just deletes a big swath of existing grass. If anyone can get it to work just like the tutorial I would like to know.

No probs

The grass became much harder to work with when 16 texture terrain was added - been finicky to use ever since. If you want a lesson in frustration try painting grass near area where terrain rises sharply

There was going to be an option for more than 1 grass type per map and i believe that is why the picker still shows up when in grass painting mode. Though we didn't get to that stage. Not even sure if GG can handle such a thing? For now I just blend with regular grass and entity grass.

Yeah, cybernescence has multiple grasses working in Cogwheel Chronicles.

Be pretty cool if his improvements make it into the GG someday....
