Hi, i want to make a static entity to follow a waypoint, like a chair or a table is moving across the room. I have no clue what so ever when it comes to scripting, so i cant make my own. I found some threads on the forums about make the entity move, but i didn't quite understand how it works. please help

Quite simply you cannot .. Not static.
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Then yes.
Its like this: static models are part of the level geometry and can not do anything. Dynamic (green highlight) objects can be assigned with any scripts or animations.

i'm pretty sure the one myke linked to was in the default scripts before but i'm not seeing it now but yes there is a default script in "scriptbank/objects/loopwaypoint.lua"
or a very similar one i wrote before
^ these both use the default waypoint system so are arguably easier to set up but obviously are more limited compared to amen's

I tested both scripts, but the problem is the loop. I want it to start at point (A) and stop at point (B). Is there a way to edit the default loopscript so i can get the result i want?

yes change the part that says "loop if at end of waypoint"

Thank you very much. I guess it's time to start learning LUA, but it's so overwhelming and i really don't know where to begin.

modifying scripts to suits your needs is a good start.. lua in not too much hard at all and really fun to work with
