I am having a tough time with F9 Edit Mode. For starters, I cannot select an entity for editing. (target on the entity, but unable to select it. (I use the LMB). Rotation options, partially work sometimes., etc. I have read some of the threads on the subject, however, most all of them which I found, dating back to 2015 and it appears that several bugs had been addressed and "fixed". Perhaps someone has a set of instructions for this mode (although seems to be self explanatory). Or, perhaps there are still issues .
Advice, opinions, or possible bugs from all of you always welcome.

Did you hit 'e' for entity editing mode?

Try checking files via steam app.

Yeah, could try validating the installation via steam.

Can't really see the value of it though, editing entities in the editor is all I ever use.

F9 edit used to be great for editing and painting terrain in-game, but when DX11 was added editing terrain in game became really finicky, and painting became a chore.

Perhaps the next update will address all these little issues

I am beginning to lean that way myself. I don't really count heavily on the F9 mode, but once in a while, since it is there, I try to use it and gets me bit "out of order" when I find things which do not really work. Perhaps, the developers are aware of it and working on "repairs" in the new update.

I did check the files with Steam, but did not come back with any errors/corrections/updates
