@Preben, i have looked in the script bank folder as you said, and not one .lua file had zero bytes.
but if i open any one of the lua files with notepad++ then they look like this.

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G3260 @ 3.30GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.3GHz RAM 16GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 730
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Scripts are encrypted in standalone.
I do notice though your using a custom path … perhaps there is an issue there ?

Well you shouldn't unless you have exportassets=1 in your setup.ini ( export Decrypted )
If you have then that might be the issue … The new map supports that command and the old map may not ?

It’s probably that you are rebuilding the standalone into a folder that already exists with scripts already there so it can’t write the new ones and so copies them over as is.

So make sure the target scriptbank folder doesn’t exist before rebuilding a standalone then the scripts should be encrypted.

Have you tried the updated lua file Preben posted - that should work or if not give a further clue.

Cheers

@PCS Yes do the change to ggprecompile.lua in this post:
https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/221339?page=1#msg2624049

Then your standalone export will not make any errors , if you then .zip the generated standalone scriptbank and email it to me , im able to see what script was the cause: plemsoft@plemsoft.com

@cybernescence, yes i do make new folders before i create standalone's.
@Preben sorry i have not had the time to change ggprecompile.lua , will do as soon as i can.

synchromesh , cybernescence, and Preben thank you guys so much for helping me, i apologize as i am working long hours at my work an do not have all the time to test my maps, and then also we are having a lot of load load shedding with our electricity so it is going i bit mad this side .
i will report back soon.
