I have saved my first game as a standalone file im just not sure what files i need to upload, i have a folder for the games i work on and the files for my current game include Files(Folder), avcodec- 57.dll, avformat- 57.dll avutil- 57.dll Barbarian bash(The EXE.) Contents(Text file), sdkencryptedappticket.dll, setup, steam_api.dll, steam_appid, swresample-2.dll, userdetails and visuals. I want to saythe file i need to upload is just the setup as i will be uploading to a 3rd party site itch.io and i just wanted to make sure that i am uploading the right file because i am a total novice the only experience i have is making a little side scroller game in untiy when i took a game design class in highschool, even though i am going to college for game design i wanted to learn how to use a multitude of software and i thought gameguru would be a good start, any help would be helpful and sorry for it being so long.

Hi Whitewolfgmaing
Go to Documents \ game guru files \ my games \
You will find your standalone game folder there.
You need to zip that whole folder as it contains all your game files.
That's what you need to distribute your game.

yes you need to upload the entire folder created and the game is run from the .exe there - GG games are kinda huge even for a blank map (last i checked around 800mb) but you do need all the files or it won't work.

A blank map with just a start marker is 370 meg but this includes the whole engine.
its whatever map size or assets you add on top of that.
In fact my game with 10 levels only adds 180 meg to that base line 370 size bringing it to around 540 meg
Pretty happy with that ..

No worries you will get it first
I have more than 10 actually on my drive but going with the flow and storyline some get put aside, some got removed till later I may even accidently build a level when testing for later use or some I may pinch bits from and not use the rest.
But its coming along nicely, your script is soooo adaptable
