My new laptop has SSD built in as its C drive. The capacity is 222GB. It keeps getting full. I have uninstalled all the apps and games I can as well as all the personal files. It's still almost full. It feels like there must be something wrong here.

I've got GameGuru installed on an external HDD so it's so slow loading.

Does anyone have any ideas?

You could use a tool like "TreeSize" to see which folders/files eat the most disk space. It's freeware.

Its likely that windows is downloading an update there and/or is keeping an older version of windows as a back up.
I also have a small SSD drive for my operation system and it does this too which is why I only keep the OS on it so it can do its thing.

i know windows can be a little bloated but 222GB seems a bit extreme for just windows... my windows 10 folder is around 20GB plus the default program files folder adds a little more but shouldn't be anywhere near 50GB let alone 200GB...
if you're running windows 10 (i assume you are), press the windows button and type in "storage settings" , open the setting it gives you and click "show more categories" - let it update its readings and it'll give you a better understanding of what is using your HDD

you can click each section to open a more detailed info page too

If you're able to, spend a bit of money on a 1TB SSD. Partition it and you should be good.
