This problem has been tying my brain in knots. I am trying to create a script to allow the player to possess proximines and deploy them at any location.

I have got Teabone's script which turns the standard proximine into one that is initially disarmed so the player can then arm it. I am struggling to figure out how to register that the player has mines and how many, then the deployment at the player's location.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks, Smallg. Wth your script I seem to be able to pick up the mine but not place it. Am I doing it wrong?

just tested and still works for me, you do need the mines to be always active though as they're moved out of the map till they're needed

Thank you. Now then only issue is the sound plays but the mine does not explode (it is set to explodable). I am wondering if it because the dinosaur is quite big.

you are correct, it was a mistake in the code, i edited it so it now works correctly and no longer requires the mines to be always active (should save a bit of performance)
