hi i would to ask how we ca nset the sryfire sound for the standard gg weapons since i saw thre is the dryfire sound but sound wont play when weapon is out of ammo.. i get a look at the guspec of the enanched weapon pack i own and i saw in that gusped there is setted even a dryfire anim so i create a dryfire voice in the standard weapon gunspec and added to it the frames for fire anim but wont work...

i know i maybe did some bad things but come back to gg form few days and reallywant to get my hands dirty with it.. LOL
PC Specs:

All weapons have allready dry fire sounds

Frames are only 4 the animations, not 4 sounds
Do not edit them or u got problems with your weapon working
The sound of the dryfire should be in
gamecore\guns\(NameOfTheModelPackYouBought)
use wav format cuz ogg can couse errors
The gunspec should be like this

If u want to change the dryfire sound just replace your sound with the original dryfire.wav, if your sound has another name u have to edit the line sound3 = dryfire.wav and replace dryfire.wav with (YourSoundName).wav

yes all correct mate.. i tried this with my standard shotgun andthe dryfiresound was there yet , i tested the sound and it work out of the box
but wont play when weapon is out of ammo ..and the same is for all other standard weapons.. what i missed?'

Sorry misunderstood u.Okay i see whre the problem is, seems like the standart gg weapons havent dryfire animations so the sound doesnt play.I not noticed that while iam dont use standart weapons at all.U can try this, add a line under putaway called dryfire and set the frame at 30,100, like this

U seted the anim fo dryfire the same as 4 start fire thats why the sound doesnt pay, u have to set it from idle.

yes i made the same thing you wrote but set the frame for dryfire to 181,204(the complete fire anim) but strangely didnt play sound
with dryfire = 30,100 sound play but anim doesnt work well
edit dryfire = 181,204 do the tirck ... i didnt know that i need t oclose gg and restart to modifies take effect

so for all noobs like me

to add dryfire sound to stock weapons we need to add the "dryfire" filed under animations list in the gunspec.txt and specify the frames for the current weapon "fire" frames

Glad 2 hear u find it out, btw why do u set the fire anim 4 dryfire?Makes it sense?The guy shoots without ammo and instead of fire sound there is a empty magazine sound?Know what i mean?Maybe on a pistol it doesnt matter but on the shotgun it looks weird cuz there is an reload animation after each shot.

btw i saw you asked in the past about drop weapon.. is there a way after reached the maximum weapon limint to drop weapon insted delete it on swap.. or better a script to can direcly drop current equipped weapon?

Sadly no, thats why iam asking 4 it even on github.Looks very unrealistic when the weapon just dissapear by pressing T, like a magic trick and its very impractical.Iam sure there is a way 2 do that by a script but iam not do scripting myself.We have a static mg script(look on my mg nest thread) that allow take the weapon and by pressing a key release it so i guess the drop weapon script would be similar.It would be even fine if we had a command who just deletes the weapon by pressing key, 4 right know we have only one who deletes all player weapons.

yes i saw that thread too and based on that asked for weapon drop since i supposed that since the system vreated by AmenMoses if i remember correctly could soleve the weapon drop irrealistic issue

I saw u had contact with c#?Lua is similar from what i can see(or not?)U could try 2 script something self.
Iam not gonna ask amenmoses right now cuz i know he and anyone alse scripter doesnt like questions like "can u make a script 4 me"?

yes i dont want to disturb Amen too LOL

Yes know a bit of c# and i'm capable to program with it but I'm learning lua right now and sincerly i dont think it's similar to c# btw it's relatively easy..so maybe in future something i could be able to produce LOL
