The annoying thing is, there is a system in place so we can do exactly that, but a lot of the older characters aren't set up for it.
All the zombies can work with all the AI scripts, if the anim references were set up properly in the fpe, as simple as that, and all the zombie scripts would work with any character if whoever had written them had designed them to read the anim references in the fpe instead of choosing the quick and easy method of hard coding the animation frames in the script.
All of the characters we have in gameguru are perfectly capable of working with all AI scripts, if the FPE's are set right and the scripts use the fpe anim reference method. If i knew how to script AI i would go through all the characters and fix their fpe's and write new zombie and melee script, i know it can be done, but i just don't know how
