added GPU Rendering for 3D viewer/convertor
Re write of Menu Creator
added Dynamic lua (increases performance when creating menus)
added actual menu preview to button placement screen

Apparently, Dropbox does not allow a URL link to an image. I'll try to find a way to show the images. The links were not exactly what I wanted either.

Graphix, this is in regard to the question I had in the store (as RedLazer). First, it was not the FPE creator but the Library tool. The first image below shows the window of the Library. On the far right is the view of the FPE file. The second image is after I click on the "Edit Selected FPE." As you can see the background color is black and the foreground color is blue. I can't see what it is I would like to edit. Is there any way to change the foreground color or the background color?

Hi Flatlander,
thank you this is a strange one because I have not set a 'black' colour it should be pale yellow background and then white when you edit, have you set any colour filters in windows 10? you can access them from settings > ease of access > Colour filters

There is a new version on the Store that I uploaded last night, please download that from your download area, uninstall your version and install the latest, if you still have the problem after installing the new version and checking your Windows settings I will add the option for users to change the background colour of that window.

Thanks, Graphix but there was no joy in doing what was recommended. I looked at the Colour filters feature and the "turn on color filters" switch was turned off. I also re-downloaded the app and again no joy. This is a weird issue for sure. I do have a yellow background when viewing but it still changes to black rather than white. It's like an invert switch is turned on. If I'm the only one experiencing this I think you should consider this a very low priority and not take the time to add more code. Adding code can be a very dangerous thing. I'm not sure if adding the ability to change the background color would work for me. If it is hardcoded to be white when in edit mode, I don't think my selecting a different color will work. What I will do is copy and paste into notepad++.

On the Contrary a bug is a bug no matter how strange LOL

I have added a colour change option on the edit window, at the bottom are two swatches one for Text Colour and one for Background Colour just click on the coloured swatches and a panel will pop up allowing custom colours.



Once store Staff have approved uninstall your current version, download from your download area the new version and install.

Yes I am working on finding why so far 3 users now have this issue, it is a strange bug and quite difficult to pin down.
There as been 15 successful installs and 3 with your error, the error points to a full stop which is not very helpful I have been going through my code for the past 48 hours I will find the issue eventually, please bear with me

Hi I just bought this and downloaded and Installed version 3.1. After setting it up and activating all Ok. I launched again for it to ask me to update to version 3.2, only when I do it will not let me activate with received serial. I have uninstalled and re-installed 3.1 for now. I guess the serial only works for version 3.1 then ?

The serial works for 3.2, please try again, if copying and pasting make sure there is not a space at the beginning or the end

Sorry for delay had to re-install again after restarting my PC it seemed to update without any problems with the serial key. So fine now thanks.

@Graphix. Same problem here.
Bought AssetManager Se today (V3.1), played a bit with it.
After a restart, it prompted me to upgrade to 3.2.
On trying to (re-)activate, I was told "Activation failed. Serial not Accepted"
Made sure that copy&paste did not have "extras" at the start or end.
Windows 10 Home, Current Patch level
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
64,0 GB (63,8 GB verwendbar)
NVIDIA RTX2070

Well, that also explains why even the reinstall of 3.1 failed me just an hour (or so) ago.
5 mins ago, at least the 3.1 reinstall & activation seems to have worked, more or less.

What I forgot to mention in the first message was that on the original install,

Um das JIT-Debuggen (Just-In-Time) zu aktivieren, muss in der
Konfigurationsdatei der Anwendung oder des Computers
(machine.config) der jitDebugging-Wert im Abschnitt system.windows.forms festgelegt werden.
Die Anwendung muss mit aktiviertem Debuggen kompiliert werden.

Zum Beispiel:

Wenn das JIT-Debuggen aktiviert ist, werden alle nicht behandelten
Ausnahmen an den JIT-Debugger gesendet, der auf dem

Asset Manager DID work for CLASSIC inspite of this, as best as I can tell.

This error re-ocurred on the last reinstall. So, if your working on 4.x,
maybe, you could have a look at this, also, or maybe, it becomes obsolete anyway.

For MAX, there was a strange occurrence on the "initial settings panel."
I entered the appropriate data for MAX, but both the upper fields (for "core" and "writeable folder") were filled with '1'. Is that supposed to happen ?

For completeness: My CLASSIC is a STEAM version, MAX is the TGC/Download version.

FYI: 3.2 still won't activate ....

When I look at SSELastInstallLog.txt, I see that the removal of 3.1 seems to have worked,
but the automatic re-install goes to Drive C:, while my original 3.1 was installed to another drive (deliberately,
but the user defined install path obviously has never been preserved).

I'll go back to 3.1 for the moment, hoping we can sort this out in the coming week.

Hi i have released a small update to see if this fixes your issue, you can either uninstall Asset Manager from Control Panel, then re download from the Store or Auto Upgrade by just running Asset Manager.
Use the serial key from your store account.

Well, at first glance, the upgrade technically seems to have performed,
the serial key was accepted by the new version,
the Classic Asset Library viewer seems to be working.

BUT:
* Still the new version is being installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\Asset Manager Se",
and the original install got deleted.
* that "Der Wert Close() kann nicht während der Ausführung von
CreateHandle() aufgerufen werden bei System.Windows.Forms.Form.Close() bei
Asset_Manager.FRM_Set_Paths." windows pop-up still prevails
* GGMAX Paths are still being changed to '1' on path setting (this looks to me as if
a return code instead of the path string is being set to the input field (I assume you
probably are checking the user input for validity at input time ? )
* Trying to edit an fpe-file (CLASSIC) leaves me with an empty black input area

I did not check all functionalities, so, there just may be more errors, on the other hand,
some deferred errors may just not occur if those basic problems get fixed.

As GGMAX has its own built-in asset manager , I'd appreciate you taking care of the GG CLASSIC errors first.

Can you un install all versions of Asset Manager through control panel, delete any custom Asset Manager installs you also have, restart your PC, download from the store and install, when installing choose your custom path for install from the setup.
Now when first run it will ask you to confirm your classic and MAX install locations, if it as got the MAX location wrong click the button with 3 dots in and choose your custom install folder, if the writable folders are also incorrect do the same for them
