So I keep my offer, which is nothing other than collaborating with the cause.
I think that TGC should take a definitive position on this matter.
In this way, users will be able to evaluate the definitive official offer, and each one will take their decision.
Let each one value the pros and cons.

@Preben I completely understand your stance, and I am so sorry you were caught up in this mess, you were only offering your skillset to address something that as been asked for for a very long time on these forums, the work you have already done is amazing and ALL in your own time too.
Thank you for the offer It was a fantastic gesture on your behalf I am sorry it was not accepted by the community.

And this is what happens when people pick everything apart and insist on knowing every detail. Which is why i made the bowel movement joke, to lighten it up before it got out of hand.

All we needed to know was that Preben was volunteering to do the work at a hugely discounted rate, it was obviously on a voluntary status, so would be done when he had time to do it, but no, you guys had to push it. Should be ashamed of yourselves, talk about the few ruining it for the many, it's fine to question dev decisions for official work, but when you pull apart an offer from a valuable community member like this and start insisting on eta's etc. then it's just too far. Good luck getting GameGuru improved now, you're going to need it.

I'm done with this community.

@Preben thanks for all your work over the years, you have done wonders, mostly free wonders, with GameGuru, and it is very much appreciated, despite how it seems.

@Belidos
Again 100% agree
But there's no point keeping this open for any arguments on what could have been so I will put this one to bed.
Pretty disappointed for sure

@Preben: Thanks for posting the info and clarity. I appreciate you taking the time

@All: Fear not on the dynamic shadows, it remains in the issues board and will be tackled in the normal course of GameGuru development. The priority remains on getting the bug count down, and I anticipate Issue 555 will be one of the last ones to tackle as it will take many weeks and needs to be done properly before we release it. I will keep it marked as a 'bug' so it will leapfrog any new 'Enhancement' style work from the issues tracker though, as I agree it will be a cool addition to the engine.

Thankyou everyone for your feedback!
