Had some spare time during rendering to take a look into Stock Soldier AI melee through wall.
I have seen this topic posted a couple of times over the past year, including on discord. I've also sent this zip in this post onto Lee, however will include it here for those who wish to try file or who may be using a earlier version of DX11 (feb, march ect) . That wish to take it for a spin.

Recommended test: Create enclosed Ebe room with door entity, place a soldier of choice in center facing door. Don't update script, test stock Combatcore script before updating (make sure to rename, create backups, or use steam to verify files if delete original).
*Open door, engage contact and close door (increase player health or reduce fire rate for test). Skim door frame or stay stationary as results vary.
*Then make a copy/rename your stock combatcore script file (files/scriptbank/ai) and place a copy of the one found in this zip and test running the same outcome again.

Video example compiled during tests below including some wall gliding, due to condition addition results may vary based on design and can mix up outcomes, though has been tested under strain for a couple of hours and hope it shall resolve some reported issues.
Remember to back up your original files before changing stock files. This was only couple of hours testing file and may need further revision. Please feel free to edit as wish if keen. Happy game dev

Zip file contents: module_combatcore.lua (scriptbank/ai) and readme.txt

I remember this problem existed in GoldenEye on the N64.
