Hi,
I have been playing around with Gameguru and wanted to see if I could recreate a very old game I played years ago, the game had you flying down a tunnel shooting nasties as you went.

Making the tunnel - no problem.
Making the nasties - No problem.
1st perspective shooting - No problem.
Flying down a tunnel script - Hit a brick wall!!!

I have tried the jetpack script but this just goes up and forward, I tried Rolfy 3rd person demon fly script but I want this in 1st perspective as I want to be able to collect guns, ammo mid air etc.

Has anyone had a go at this type of thing? or got a script to work in gameguru?

Sorry not very good at scripting....

Yes, it's pretty easy-- and I think your question maybe gave me a solution
to our problems.
Probably will help me work on something that will produce the results we
are looking for- I hope.

To make it easier for you, search for an airplane script on these
forums...

In your start marker set your fall speed to 2
Attach the below script to a trigger zone.
Walk in the trigger zone and you can fly at walk speed. pressing shift and ASWD will go faster but will not climb when the player camera looks up.

Hi Pirate Mike,

I did everything you stated, but when I walk into the trigger zone (with above script attached) nothing happens.....

Okay, I'm going to consider cleaning up an old flying sled script
that I had made for a Christmas game, and see if it seems
worthy of putting into the TGCstore ((: money on these fronts is
a serious want I'm afraid at this time )

Works on all my old maps, but on a fresh map it only works till you modify the properties of the start marker, then it does not after that.
I am on the private beta, so something else might be interfering with it. Testing more.
